1. Who operates Taken Today

Taken Today is a medication-tracking and reminder service operated by Roda Works LLC. Questions about this policy may be sent to sirizzy@gmail.com.

2. Information collected

Depending on which features a user chooses, Taken Today may collect:

• Account information: name or nickname, email address, sign-in records, and account status.
• Medication information: medication names, strengths, forms, schedules, directions, reasons, notes, and whether or when a dose was recorded as taken.
• Reminder information: reminder preferences, report preferences, time zone, mobile number, text and call choices, consent confirmations, consent timestamps, and communication delivery status.
• Sharing information: people a user invites, their access level, and activity performed while assisting the user.
• Support communications: messages, comments, problem reports, and responses submitted through the service or by email.
• Technical information: server logs and security information such as access times, browser or device details, IP addresses, and error records.

3. How information is used

Taken Today uses information to:

• create and secure accounts;
• display medication lists, schedules, histories, and reports;
• send the reminders and reports a user enables;
• support trusted-person or caregiver access authorized by the account owner;
• respond to support requests and problem reports;
• detect errors, misuse, and security problems; and
• maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

Taken Today does not use medication or mobile information for advertising.

4. When information is disclosed

Taken Today does not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed only in these limited situations:

• At the user's direction: to a caregiver, family member, or trusted person the user authorizes, according to the access level selected.
• Service operation: to hosting, email, communications, or technical service providers acting on Taken Today's behalf and only as needed to operate the service.
• Safety, security, or law: when reasonably necessary to protect the service or users, investigate misuse, comply with lawful process, or meet a legal obligation.
• Business continuity: if operation of Taken Today is reorganized or transferred, subject to continued protection of personal information and the SMS privacy promise in this policy.

Trusted people and service providers are expected to use information only for the purpose for which access was provided.

5. SMS and phone information

A mobile number is required in the Taken Today profile, but SMS texts and automated calls are optional. Taken Today records SMS or automated-call consent only after the appropriate consent checkbox is selected and the settings are saved.

• Message frequency varies according to medication schedules and enabled reminder preferences.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to opt out of text messages or disable them in Settings.
• Reply HELP for help information.
• Consent is not required to use Taken Today.

Text notifications may be visible on a device lock screen or to anyone with access to the phone. Users should choose a phone and notification settings appropriate for their privacy needs.

6. User choices

Users may update their profile, medication information, sharing permissions, and reminder preferences in Taken Today. Optional email, text, call, and report features may be turned off in Settings.

Text recipients may also reply STOP. A user may request correction or deletion of account information by contacting sirizzy@gmail.com.

7. Retention and deletion

Information is retained while an account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain security and records, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations. Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups or logs until those records are rotated or no longer needed.

8. Security

Taken Today uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information, including account access controls and encrypted web connections. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Users should protect access to their email, phone, and devices and should report suspected unauthorized access promptly.

9. Children

Taken Today is not directed to children under 13. A parent or legal guardian should manage any account information entered for a minor and should not enable communications without appropriate permission.

10. Changes and contact

This policy may be updated as Taken Today changes. The effective date at the top will be revised when material changes are made.
