Terms of Use

These terms govern use of Taken Today, including its medication-tracking tools, reports, email reminders, text messages, and automated reminder calls.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, accessing Taken Today, or using any Taken Today feature, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Taken Today is operated by Roda Works LLC.

2. Purpose and medical disclaimer

Taken Today helps users record medications, schedules, reminders, and medication-taking history. It is an organizational tool only.

Do not use Taken Today for emergencies. If you may have taken the wrong medication or dose, missed a critical dose, are experiencing a reaction, or need urgent help, contact a qualified medical professional, Poison Control, or emergency services immediately.

Taken Today does not diagnose, prescribe, recommend, monitor, or verify medical treatment. Information entered by users may be incomplete or incorrect. Always follow instructions from a doctor, pharmacist, or other qualified medical professional.

3. Accounts and information

You agree to provide accurate information, protect access to your email and device, and promptly correct medication or contact information that is wrong. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for reviewing recorded medication history.

You may not enter another person's medical or contact information unless you have their permission or are otherwise authorized to assist them.

4. Trusted-person and caregiver access

Taken Today may allow a user to share selected information with a trusted person or caregiver. The account owner controls whom to invite and which access level to grant. Anyone receiving access must use the information only to assist the account owner and must protect it from unauthorized disclosure.

Shared access does not make Taken Today or the trusted person responsible for medical supervision, adherence, or emergency response.

5. Electronic communications

By providing an email address, you agree to receive account emails necessary to sign in, administer the account, and deliver any email reminders or reports you enable. Optional reminders and reports may be turned off in Settings.

Delivery is not guaranteed. Email, carrier, network, device, hosting, and third-party service problems can delay or prevent communications.

6. SMS terms

The program name is Taken Today Medication Reminders, sent from toll-free number (877) 583-6081. Users opt in through the secure Taken Today Settings page as described on the SMS Consent and Opt-In page.

If you change, lose, transfer, or deactivate your mobile number, update Taken Today promptly so reminders are not sent to another person.

7. Automated reminder call terms

Where available, a user may separately choose to receive automated reminder calls from Taken Today. Call frequency varies according to the user's medication schedule and settings. Consent to receive calls is optional and may be withdrawn in Settings.

A user may choose whether a call says medication names or gives a more private general reminder. Even a private reminder may reveal that the recipient uses Taken Today.

8. Availability and service changes

Taken Today is under active development. Features may change, malfunction, be interrupted, or be removed. Data may be corrected or restored from backups, but uninterrupted access and perfect preservation of data are not guaranteed.

You should maintain an independent, current medication list and a separate reminder method appropriate to your medical needs.

9. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operation, send unlawful or abusive communications, impersonate another person, scrape data, or use Taken Today to deliver marketing or unrelated bulk messages.

10. Ownership

Taken Today's software, design, branding, and original content are owned by the operator or used with permission. You retain rights in information you enter, subject to the permission needed for Taken Today to store, process, display, and transmit it to provide the service.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Taken Today is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties that reminders will be timely, accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular medical purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for losses caused by reliance on reminders, missed or duplicate communications, incorrect user-entered information, unauthorized account access, service interruptions, or actions taken based on the service.

12. Ending use

You may stop using Taken Today and request account deletion. The operator may suspend or end access for misuse, security concerns, legal requirements, extended inactivity, or discontinuation of the service.

13. Changes and contact

These terms may be updated as Taken Today changes. The effective date at the top will be revised when material changes are made. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
